How to check if your iPhone or Android device factory unlocked or not

One of the perceived drawbacks of monopolization smartphone industry by media locking devices. Step 1: Point your browser to and enter your IMEI number in the device dialog box as shown in the picture. You can check the device IMEI by dialing * # 06 # on the phone application. On arrival, click the checkout button.

Step 2: You will be taken to a new screen with a lot of information from the device, click Simlock AND WARRANTIES, as shown in the picture. This process may take up to a couple of minutes, so be patient.

Step 3: Once the process is complete, you will receive all the information on the network to which the device and if it is SIM unlocked or not.
