How to check if your iPhone or Android device factory unlocked or not

One of the perceived drawbacks of monopolization smartphone industry by media locking devices. How to check if the device is locked or unlocked

Step 1: Point your browser to IMEI.info and enter your IMEI number in the device dialog box as shown in the picture. You can check the device IMEI by dialing * # 06 # on the phone application. On arrival, click the checkout button.


Step 2: You will be taken to a new screen with a lot of information from the device, click Simlock AND WARRANTIES, as shown in the picture. This process may take up to a couple of minutes, so be patient.


Step 3: Once the process is complete, you will receive all the information on the network to which the device and if it is SIM unlocked or not.
